The festival will be a low-risk outdoor recreational activity. It’s an all-inclusive picnic featuring barbecue all-stars like Tank Jackson of Charleston’s Holy City Hogs, Trevor Kunk of The Little Beet, Mario Chape of Big Papa Smokem, Jase Franklyn of Jase BBQ, and Mike Lapi, a chef, farmer, and butchering instructor at SUNY Cobleskill. We’ll also have beer from Staten Island’s Flagship Brewery, cider, spirits and delicious side dishes like Geechie Boy grits with shrimp.
The Beer BBQ Bacon Showdown is New Jersey’s first festival, featuring only New Jersey Beer, coupled with restaurants, gourmet food trucks & Chefs, offering a delectable array of mouth watering BBQ & Bacon creations, all available for purchase. There will be a competition to showcase their culinary skills, with a panel of celebrity judges choosing the best of the best, along with People’s Choice awards for Best Dish & Best Beer. 30 New Jersey Breweries will be in attendance, each bringing 3 styles of Beer.

The first annual Bergen County Food & Wine Festival, benefitting The 200 Club of Bergen County, was an idea bloomed from seeing many other areas throughout the country celebrate their culinary prowess. As one of the most affluent, culturally diverse counties in the country, it was only a matter of time before an event of this magnitude was carried out in Bergen County, NJ.
The Food Network & Cooking Channel New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Capital One (NYCWFF) is a star-studded four-day event showcasing the talents of the world’s most renowned chefs, wine and spirit producers, culinary personalities, lifestyle experts and America’s most beloved television chefs while raising critical funds to nourish vulnerable New Yorkers affected by severe illness and food poverty through God’s Love We Deliver and Food Bank For New York City.

When the weather starts to warm up, it’s time to start planning what barbecue events you should head to in the spring and summer. One of my favorite events of the year, Brisket King NYC, is one such festival that you should have on your calendar and an important staple in the NYC BBQ community.
Brisket King NYC 2022 will bring together 20 restaurants and pitmasters from New York, New Jersey, and around the country. Held in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the event will also feature beer, wine, and spirits as well.
